Hello students and families! My name is Dr. Cohen and I have been teaching science at EHS for the past 8 years. This year, I teach Chemistry and AP Biology to a wonderful group of talented learners. All lesson resources, materials, updates, and additional information can be found on Google Classroom, so make sure to join and access that frequently.

All students have access to our online learning space, and parents or guardians can be added by email address. Please ask your student to add you to our Google Classroom page, or you can reach out to me and I would be happy to add you and provide updates as well.
Work Expectations During School Closure
- Chemistry: Each week, I will be posting 3-4 short assignments on Google Classroom by Monday morning. Assignments are due by Friday of that same week and should take no more than 2 hours to complete. I have provided a virtual work tracker that contains all assignments and resources that I expect you to check frequently.
- AP Biology: As this is a college-level class, I am expecting a slightly more intensive workload than other non-AP classes. You should be spending about an hour a day (our typically allotted class time) working and reviewing for the AP exam using the materials posted on Google Classroom. I have provided a virtual work tracker that contains all assignments and resources that I expect you to check frequently. Assignment due dates will be staggered (typically twice a week), so please check Google Classroom daily.
Online Office Hours
I will be available for virtual office hours from 11-12 AM for Chemistry and 12-1 PM for AP Biology on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Zoom links will be posted in Google Classroom.
